Final Update?

Sooooooo, possibly the last update of school work for year 1! I can't believe the year went by so fast, but here we are! Last assignment for animation class: the flour sac! My poor butterfly didn't stand a chance...

My Diagonal Pan for layout class. Stupid blogger again made it miniscule.

Rough Layout with character overlay for painting class.

Rough colours for the painting assignment.

The final. The scanner made it look more blue for some reason but it's more purple in real life. Gouache background with acrylic painted acetate overlay.

Character Spam!

Hey everyone. Seems like not updating often is becoming a bad habit; it's just been so incredibly busy at school that it's been tough to. A lot coming up; 2 weeks left of school, which I cannot believe. The big New York adventure is also coming up, which is exciting. For those who may not've seen that post, I was invited to attend Costume Con 29 in New Jersey for my Flamedramon costume, which is really exciting. Still not sure if I'll enter him in the masquerade down there but even if I don't, it will still be such a fun time. Other than that, I'm looking forward to some rest and finally being able to do something that isn't school related. But for now, here's some updates.

Small little tonal that was done a while back as an excercise for painting class.

Character Timeline assignment. I'm sorry it's so small but I can't seem to get blogger to make my pictures appear larger when clicked on. If anyone can help me, please let me know.

Poses for the character design package for class.

Expressions for the same assignment.

Professor Berry's Library

Here's my process work and final for the interior of a novel assignment for painting. I was going to paint this but REALLY didn't feel like painting today; ironically, I think it turned out way better than it would've if I had painted it. Done with pencil crayons on toned paper. The novel I chose was Green Rider; not my first choice but it worked. I actually read through 6 or 7 books trying to find enough description for one interior, but sadly couldn't for the series I would've liked. Please be nice; my scanner butchered my final :/

Derp

Soooooo, haven't updated in a long while but here we go:

My animation for the animal walk assignment. I was assigned a coyote.

And this is a silly little animation I randomly did at school today because I felt like it :3 Derp horse go!

Emotional Places

Here are my final paintings for the emotional places assignment. I like the layout but the paintings themselves are meh... Didn't turn out as well as I would've liked.

Also here's the rough drawing for my character timeline. :3 Still have things to tweak, like making the kids head bigger and changing things on the oldest fox; other than that I like how they look. Enjoy!

Pawg

Updating again. So this is Pawg; he's a stuffed toy I made for my awesome friend's birthday of her own character Pawg. He's made of fleece and hand painted resin eyes and took me about 25-30 hours to make, but I think he turned out really nicely. :3

Here are my 3 drawings for the layout "Penguin" assignment.

Horse is made of horse, mountain made of mountain and ice made of ice.

The horse is a statue, the ground is dried/cracked earth and the mountains are made of material.

Stylized version. (Crazy muscular horse lol)

Pooka :3

Just updating my final animation for the character head turn. I quite like how it turned out, especially the expression and her interacting with Pooka.
